Custom CRM & internal tools

A custom CRM built around how your team already works.

Off-the-shelf CRM software makes you work its way, bending your process to fit someone else’s screens. We build custom software development for New Zealand businesses: CRMs, internal tools and dashboards shaped around your process, your people and your paperwork.

What’s included

The full build, not a template with your logo on it.

We sit with your team, learn how the work actually flows, then build the system to match. Training and support included, because we stick around after launch.

01

Custom CRMs

Clients, quotes, jobs and invoices in one place that matches how you actually sell.

02

Internal tools

Job boards, scheduling, stock, timesheets: the daily-grind screens, minus the grind.

03

Dashboards & reporting

The numbers that matter, live, without anyone exporting a spreadsheet first.

04

Integrations & automations

Xero, Slack, email, all hooked into what you already use, quietly doing the boring bits.

Why not a subscription CRM

Rent a CRM forever, or own an internal tool outright.

  • Built around your process, not the other way roundNo forcing your quoting, job tracking or invoicing into someone else’s rigid pipeline stages.
  • Connects to Xero, Slack and the rest of your stackYour custom CRM talks to the accounting and comms tools your team already relies on.
  • Yours to keep, no per-seat surprisesAdd staff without a bigger monthly bill. The software is a business asset, not a subscription.
  • Software developer, New Zealand-based, on callNo offshore ticket queues. You talk to the person who wrote the code when something needs changing.

$600/mo

Typical savings when a bundle of subscriptions (CRM, project boards, forms, automations) gets replaced with one custom system.

Zero

Per-seat licence fees. Growing the team doesn’t grow the software bill.

How it works

From spreadsheet chaos to a system that runs itself.

Straight answers before we start: what a job costs, how long it takes, then we stick to it.

  1. 01

Tell us what’s slow or clunky

A short call about where the workflow breaks down: the spreadsheet nobody trusts, the CRM everyone’s stopped updating, the job board that’s three whiteboards and a group chat.

  2. 02

We map how the work actually flows

We sit with the people using the system day to day, not just the person who signs off on it, and design around how the work really happens.

  3. 03

We build, connect and ship it

Your custom CRM or internal tool gets built, wired up to Xero, Slack and whatever else you run on, and rolled out with your team.

  4. 04

    Training and support, ongoing

We stick around after launch, with training included and a local team to call when something needs adjusting as the business grows.

Questions

Common questions about custom CRMs and internal tools.

What is a CRM, exactly?

A CRM, or customer relationship management software, is where a business keeps track of clients, quotes, jobs and communication in one place, instead of scattered across inboxes and spreadsheets. A custom CRM does the same job, but the fields, stages and reports are built around your process instead of a generic sales pipeline.

Why build a custom CRM instead of using off-the-shelf CRM software?

Off-the-shelf platforms are built for the average business, which means most teams end up working around features they don’t need and missing the ones they do. A custom build only includes what your business actually uses, connects directly to tools like Xero, and doesn’t charge per seat as your team grows.

What counts as an "internal tool"?

Anything your team uses daily that isn’t customer-facing: job boards, scheduling calendars, stock and inventory tracking, timesheets, approval workflows. If it currently lives in a spreadsheet or three different apps stitched together, it’s a good candidate.

How much does custom software development cost?

It depends on scope. A single internal tool is a smaller project than a full CRM with integrations. We give a fixed cost and timeframe before any work starts, so there are no surprises partway through.

Do you work with businesses outside of Auckland?

Yes. We’re a New Zealand software development team working with businesses around the country, including engineering firms, trades and service companies.
